A: No, this is a SFW only zine.

Q: Can I apply for multiple roles?
A: Yes, but you will only be chosen for one. However in some scenarios a page artist may also be a merch artist.

Q: Will there be shipping allowed in this zine?
A: No, this zine is made to showcase the strengths of women and their friendships with one another.

Q: Can I post or sell my finished piece?
A: You are allowed to post or sell your finished piece after the zine has been shipped out to buyers.

Q: How will artists and writers communicate with the mod team?
A: All communication will be done through discord, so each contributor must have a discord account.


application guidelines

artists

Artists are expected to submit three pieces that best demonstrate their style.At least one piece must be a piece of Yu-Gi-Oh centric art.No NSFW art may be submitted.Artists will be evaluated on composition, colour, and lighting.Artists may be asked to save their lineart for a digital colouring book.Artists will be asked to check off what series and characters they are comfortable drawing. Artists will also be asked to select their top 5 character choices.


writers

Writers are expected to submit three pieces that best demonstrate their style and writing ability. Pieces can be linked from Google Drive or AO3.Atleast one piece must be a Yu-Gi-Oh centric fic to demonstrate the ability to write in-character.Snippets for Long fics can be submitted but at least one completed fic less than 2000 words must be submitted.Sample total should not exceed 6000 words maximum.No NSFW content may be submitted, but please mark any content warnings that may be included.Writers will be evaluated on style, themes, grammar, and characterisation.Writers will be asked to submit three to five pitches that they would like to write for the zine.Writers can expect their work to be Beta read twice by the Mods.

Merch Artists are expected to submit three pieces of merch designs that best demonstrate their merch style and the kind of merch they would be comfortable creating.Merch Artists will be evaluated on composition, colour, and lighting.Merch Artists will be asked to check off the merch they would be comfortable creating and what series they would be comfortable working on. Merch Artists will have until the first check-in to finalize their character(s) and design sketch with the mods.
